Umm, it's Italian, directed by one of the masters.

It looks like an Argento type of murder, but I don't think it's from one of his movies. I've considered Fulci or the Bavas, but I'm just stuck.

This one gave it away. The sex led me to the Bavas. They seem to have more of it in their films from the 70's. Is it Bay of Blood?

Funny how F13 Part 2 ripped off that kill almost exactly.

No problem! No one seems to be able to guess them anyway, so here's a clue:
It came out in 1990, and the first part of the title is also the director's first name, coincidentally. The title also plays on the movies it is spoofing.

Alright, well.......
I have one that may be very hard, but I'll try it out anyway. I'll give hints too. I thought of it because I mentioned that a professor of mine was in the movie and helped make it around the town I live in now.

Good bloody picture! I know that I can remember you mentioning your professor being in a movie before, but I can't remember what it was. I'll have to go back through posts to see what it was

I'm really doubting myself on this guess, but I noticed in posts on the So Bad it's Good topic that you mentioned that a screenwriting professor or yours was in C.H.U.D. I haven't seen that movie in a long time, but is it C.H.U.D.?

Noooo, that was a different professor of mine.
Another clue: It was actually considered to be a genuine snuff film, because no one ever went public about making it. In fact, it wasn't released until 5 years after it was made and without the directors knowledge. He found out 2 years after it was released when someone on the street recognized him.

astralpictures
Jul 26 2007, 10:54 AM
It was filmed in 1972-73, but not released until 1977. It went by a few different titles, which helped it escape being put on the UK's video nasties list. The reason why is that a Tobe Hooper movie had the same exact title as one of the alternate titles to this movie, and the Hooper movie was accidentally banned instead of this one for a short time.
If still can't get it, I'll give you a more concrete clue!
micki_dallion

Is one of the alternate titles Eaten Alive?

the third one still had the family and the fourth was in the hotel right? I think that might be the Third, lets see whos right when miki gets back on
astralpictures
Jul 27 2007, 11:57 PM
The third one has the girl, but I think she lived with relatives.
Shit, maybe there wasn't a fourth. I might be thinking of Amityville again! I confuse these movies all the time.
